Summer Financial Aid Information

  • Summer financial aid will be offered based on your summer enrollment.
    • Notify our office if your enrollment plans change once you've received your summer financial aid offer. Your summer offer may need to be adjusted.
  • Undergraduate students must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits in order to be eligible for Federal Direct Subsidized/Unsubsidized or Nursing Loans. Graduate students need to be enrolled in a minimum of 5 credits to be eligible for a Federal Unsubsidized Loan.
     
  • 2023-24 FAFSA is required to determine financial aid eligibility for the 2024 Summer semester.
     
  • You must be fully admitted as a degree-seeking student at Minot State.
    • All final high school, dual credit and college transcripts need to be received before tuition and fees are due.
       
  • Your enrollment status at 11:59 pm on the last day to add/drop a course at 100% refund of tuition and fees for summer semester will determine your enrollment status for Minot State Satisfactory Progress Policy, Federal Pell Grant and ND State Grant.
    • Last day to add/drop at 100% for summer term: June 1, 2024
       
  • Summer financial aid offer is based on the assumption that you will successfully complete all your spring courses.
    • If you fail to complete some of your spring courses, it may change your summer eligibility. If this happens, you will receive an email informing you of a revision to your summer financial aid.
       
  • If you are transferring to Minot State for the Summer semester be sure to check our Transfer Student Checklist in addition to completing the Summer Financial Aid Application.
     
  • Tuition and fees are due Wednesday, June 5. Charges will be posted to your Campus Connection account the beginning of May. To view your charges, log into Campus Connection under the Student Homepage> Financial Account > Account Summary.

  • If your plans change after you have registered for your summer courses and you choose not to attend the summer semester, complete the Minot State Withdrawal Form.
