Law Enforcement Officer Tuition & Waiver Program

The 65th Legislative Assembly created a Tuition Waiver program (see ND Century Code 54-12-35). A licensed peace officer who has been employed as a law enforcement officer for at least two years and who has maintained a satisfactory job performance may be eligible to receive a waiver of 25% of resident tuition and fees at Minot State University.

The Application for Tuition Waiver is listed on the Attorney General website or by clicking: LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER APPLICATION FOR TUITION WAIVER. Students should also submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.ed.gov.
