Automatic 4-Year Award
You automatically qualify for our 4-year award when you are admitted to Minot State as a freshman by the priority deadline of July 1 (fall semester) or December 1 (spring semester). Awards are based on your official unweighted high school grade point average (GPA) and ACT or SAT score (if provided). No additional application beyond your application for admission is required.

Note: If you have earned a GED score of 165+ and scored a 30 or higher on the ACT you are eligible for $1,500/ year.

Applying for federal financial aid is a great way to help pay for college. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required to determine your eligibility for federal grants, work study, loan programs, and the North Dakota State Grant. The priority funding deadline is April 15, learn more at fafsa.gov.
