Minot Air Force Base

MSU offers general education courses on the Minot Air Force Base to help members of the United States Air & Space Force earn their Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) degree. Classes at Minot Air Force Base are open to the general public as well as military students and their dependents. Consider these convenient scheduling options in 8-week and 16-week sessions:

  • Face to face courses on base with flexible schedules. Check with the base office for more information about specially arranged squadron classes.
  • Online courses
  • Online degree programs
  • Courses on the Minot State University campus (only 10 miles from the base)

MSU has signed the Department of Defense Memorandum of Understanding, which makes Military Tuition Assistance available to be used for MSU courses. Visit the Minot AFB Education Center personnel in the Francis X. Deignan Building (156 Missile Avenue) for tuition assistance information. If you or your dependents are planning to use GI Bill Educational Benefits, please contact Andy Heitkamp, Veterans Center Director, to ensure the process is completed in a timely and efficient manner. The general education courses for the degrees below are offered on the Minot AFB. The core components of each degree are offered via MSU Online or on the MSU campus:

  • Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice
  • Bachelor of Science in General Studies
  • Bachelor of Science in Management
