Access to Minot Air Force Base
Procedures for access to Minot AFB (MAFB)
A pass is required for all civilians and/or nonmilitary members to attend classes on the MAFB.
Civilian students registering for classes on MAFB are subject to a background check, required and completed by the military before enrollment is official. The Base Pass Request form will be emailed for you to fill out and return. For more information about classes or base access call the MSU office on the MAFB at 701-727-9044. The Base Pass Request form is also available in the Center for Extended Learning office on the third floor of Administration.
Please allow yourself extra time to pass through security. You must have with you at all times:
- Driver's license
- Proof of vehicle registration
- Proof of auto insurance
The Francis X. Deignan Building (Education Center) is the large brick building one block past the first stop light on the left side of the road.
