Minot State’s applied business information technology degree is for students holding an Associate of Applied Science degree with a desire to enhance their knowledge and skills to a supervisory or management level. Your studies will focus on the design, development, and implementation of technology in today’s business environment.

Business education teachers at the secondary level are in high demand in North Dakota and across the country. When you earn our business education degree, you will be armed with the skills and knowledge necessary to be an effective educator or leader.

For students receiving an education degree in other areas, our business education minor and marketing education minor is a great way to enhance your skillset and resume.

When you earn our management information systems degree, you will graduate as a multi-tasker who is highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and excellent with interpersonal and management skills. Our program focuses on the design, development, and implementation of technology in today’s competitive business environment.

Our management information systems minor will complement any degree as you learn the many facets of information systems and assimilate information technology theory and skills.

The Business Information Technology (BIT) Department Cybersecurity Center establishes a local, regional, and national leadership role in the development of cyber security education. Opportunities at Minot State University (MiSU) include both technical and non-technical degrees from the department of Business Information Technologies, Computer Science, and a graduate certificate in Cyber Security Management. The Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education (CAE-CD) designation indicates that our institution is helping reduce threats to our national infrastructure by promoting higher education and research in cyber defense as well as provide the nation with a pipeline of qualified cybersecurity professionals.

Students who complete the degree or certificates listed below will soon be eligible to receive a certificate confirming their completion of the CAE-designated program.
