Have you previously attended Minot State as a non-degree seeking student?

• Complete the Application for Status Change From Non-Degree to Degree Seeking
  • For the question 'Are you applying to an Air University Associate to Baccalaureate Cooperative (AU-ABC) program?', make sure to mark YES.
  • Send official transcripts from all colleges and universities you have attended to:

New Student

Are you a new student to Minot State? The first step is to fill out an online application for admission.

• Online Admission Application - Click on the APPLY link on the right
  • For the questions about Major/Program and Degree/Plan, indicate your desired major. Only programs listed under the Programs section below have a defined AU-ABC program plan.
  • For the question about military service, make sure to mark YES and answer the additional questions about your status and branch of service.
  • For the question about the AU-ABC program, make sure to mark YES.
  • The application fee is waived for all Air Force and Space Force Active Duty and North Dakota Air National Guard members.
• Student Health Records: 
  • If you are enrolling in online courses only and do not plan to attend classes on the Minot State campus, you do not need supply any immunization records but you must complete the Immunization Exemption form.
  • If you plan to enroll in courses on the Minot State campus now or in the future, you are required to submit immunization records.
  • To submit the required documentation, go to Student Health Health Record Requirements page. 
  • No student will be permitted to enroll in a subsequent term until immunization records or an exemption form have been received.

Once you have been admitted to Minot State, you will receive an acceptance email with instructions. The following items will need to be completed:

1. Claim your account for Campus Connection (You will need the Student ID/EMPLID number sent by the Enrollment Services Office.)
2. Login to Campus Connection and complete your Financial Obligation Agreement
3. Register to attend Online Orientation
   • New students are assessed a one-time new student fee of no more than $125 due with your tuition and fee payment to support new student programs.
4. Contact your Academic Advisor and arrange a meeting to review your program requirements and plan your schedule
5. Register for classes through Campus Connection
6. Set up your Minot State email account which is REQUIRED for all Minot State courses
7. Check for specific course requirements such as proctors, web cams, microphones, etc.
8. Order textbooks through the Minot State Bookstore

Undergraduate for Active Duty service members, National Guard, and Reservists - $250.00 per credit

*The College, NDSA, Tech, and Connect ND fees are waived for Active Duty service members, National Guard, and Reservists.
