MSU Access Services Statement

The syllabus statement should be an invitation to students who have disabilities to meet with the faculty member, in a confidential environment, to review course requirements and discuss their needs for accommodations. In addition, it makes the students aware that disability related accommodations are coordinated through Access Services.

All syllabi must be reviewed by department/division chairs using the syllabus audit checklist prior to the start of the semester to ensure they include the minimum requirements.
