Company Makeup Info: The Summer Theatre Company is made up each year of a variety of community members, special guest artists, and university students. Approximately 20 paid Company Members work during the day on crews creating everything you see during each performance. Other community members spend evenings and weekends volunteering their time for each production of the season.
Creative Team Application Info: Interested in being part of our creative team? Submit a cover letter detailing your interests as well as a resume showing your related skills and education. Applications are due in February each year. Typically, applications are accepted for the following positions:
- Choreographers
- Stage Management
- Costumers
- Set Construction
Those interested in applying for any of these positions should email Artistic Director Chad Gifford with the following information: Cover Letter expressing interest in the shows for the upcoming season, any sort of vision or approach to a summer stock show, and any interest you may have in additional positions--acting, working on a crew, etc...-- as well as resume/C.V. with relevant experience.
Actor/Technician Application Info: Interested in working for Summer Theatre as an actor or technician with our team? Actors should submit a video showing both a song and monologue in the style of the season. Submit a cover letter detailing interests as well as a resume showing related skills and education to determine crew placement. Applications are due the week before local auditions each year.
