Readmission Frequently Asked Questions

You may reapply for admission up until the last day to add, drop, or withdraw from classes. We encourage all readmission applications be submitted prior to the first day classes for each term.

A new application fee is not required for readmission.


Your student ID number is not required on the application for readmission.


Readmission applications are processed by the Registrar's Office. Please call 701-858-3345 to inquire about your application status.


As a readmitted student, you are not required to attend Orientation. However, if you would like to attend Orientation to familiarize yourself with campus you are welcome to do so.


You can enroll when registration opens for the next term. Check out important dates to know here.


Advisors are assigned and can be viewed in your Campus Connection account. If an advisor is no longer assigned in your Campus Connection account, contact your academic department for more information.


The application for readmission includes the opportunity to designate your major prior to submission. An official change of major can be submitted through the Registrar’s Office or online using Campus Connection.
