Freshman
Start your journey here. Apply as a freshman if you’re a high school senior, high school graduate, or GED recipient who hasn’t attended college yet.
Transfer
Finish what you started. Transfer to Minot State with a 2.0 GPA. If transferring fewer than 24 credits, you must meet freshman requirements, too.
International
Explore the possibilities. You graduated from a high school abroad or are transferring and seeking a degree in the United States.
Graduate School
Take the next step. Apply to a graduate program with a completed bachelor’s degree and meet all program-specific requirements.
Online
Learn from anywhere. Earn your degree online with our flexible, accredited programs. Study at your own pace and balance education with your life.
Military
Your service matters. Active-duty members and veterans can apply by submitting military transcripts and documents to access benefits.
Dual Credit
Get ahead in high school. High school juniors and seniors with a 2.5+ GPA can earn college credit through their school, IVN, or on MSU’s campus.
Returning Student
Welcome back home. Reapply and submit transcripts for any courses you’ve taken since you last attended Minot State.
Non-Degree
Learn without limits. Apply as a non-degree student with a simple process—no transcripts required. Perfect for personal growth.
Post-Baccalaureate
Build on your degree. Apply as a post-baccalaureate student by submitting your undergraduate transcript to earn another degree.
65+ Waiver
It’s never too late. Seniors 65+ enjoy waived tuition. Simply complete the application and submit your transcript to enroll.
