KICKSTART days offer unique experience

MINOT, N.D. – Minot State University’s KICKSTART days recruiting event invites high school students to join a Minot State class Oct. 18 and 19.

High school students can choose as many of the 45 classes offered during KICKSTART in any major they may be considering. A few examples of classes students can attend are: CSCI 221: Web and Internet Programming; SPED 113: American Sign Language I; NURS 253: Nursing Perspective; and MUSC 260: Introduction to Music History. A full list of classes is available at askMSU.com/kickstart.

“This is a great opportunity to see what it is like to be a student at Minot State as they begin preparing for college,” Minot State Director of Enrollment Services Katie Tyler said. “Prospective students will be able to interact with professors and current Minot State students while learning about something they are interested in. A variety of class subjects and times are offered on both Thursday and Friday. It’s a great opportunity for prospective students to engage in our campus community.”

Students are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled class and an individual from Enrollment Services will walk them to the class. More information and registration is available on askMSU.com/kickstart or individuals can contact Enrollment Services by call or text at 701-639-2467.
