Online courses are affordable and are charged by the credit (semester hour). This means that you pay only for the credits required to complete your degree. The per credit charge includes all tuition and fees, but not textbooks or software required for specific courses.

Undergraduate - $354.49 per credit, capped between 12-18 credits
*Undergraduate degree-seeking students are also assessed a New Student Fee.

Graduate - $445.49 per credit, capped between 12-18 credits

Other Important Information

  • Financial Aid is available for online courses!
  • Payment plans are available in the fall and spring semesters.
  • Tuition and fees are due in full at the start of the semester. Students who have not paid their account by the due date will have their registration canceled. If your registration is canceled you will be charged a $150 reinstatement fee to be re-enrolled in classes.
  • Minot State does NOT send any paper bills. Your account balance is available in Campus Connection under Student Finances. Notices about tuition payment deadlines will be sent to your Minot State email.
  • Minot State will assess a late fee of 1.75% on a monthly basis for any unpaid, past due charges. Accounts are considered past due once they are over 30 days old.
