It is a multifunctional multipurpose work of art. It was designed to incorporate as many interesting facets the artist could combine while creating an environment that could be stepped in and out of.

Biography:

Charlie Lee was born and raised in Minot, North Dakota. Throughout his youth, Charlie was highly encouraged by his mother Margaret to create art. He spent many summers taking children’s art courses at the Taube Museum of Art in Minot. He now teaches similar summer classes at the Taube.

Charlie graduated from Minot High School in 2008 and has been slowly working on an art degree ever since. Charle’s work is a chaotic whirl of colors, patterns and bizarre creatures. He enjoys drawing, printmaking and sculpture. Charlie also is avid skateboarder and believes that it can be an equally creative process. Charlie’s art is heavily influenced by early 90’s skateboard graphics, cartoons, and punk rock. On March 1st, 2020, Charlie and his girlfriend McKenzie welcomed their daughter Sonny Clair Lee into the world. She is Charlie’s newest source of inspiration and motivation.
