I am an experienced nurse with over 20 years of diverse clinical and leadership experience in healthcare. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, including Med/Surg, ICU, NICU, and Pediatrics, as well as serving as a neonatal flight nurse. I’ve held leadership roles such as Hospital Supervisor, Nurse Manager, and Director of Nursing, which have allowed me to build a well-rounded expertise in both patient care and leadership. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the MSU nursing program in 2005, and further advanced my education by obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Nursing Administration and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Organizational Leadership. I am a certified gerontological nurse, which aligns with my passion for working with vulnerable populations. Currently, I am teaching the Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing course. As a lifelong learner, I am committed to continuous professional development and am currently working toward an addiction studies major to expand my knowledge and expertise.
