The RN to BSN program is designed to enhance the knowledge of individuals with an associate degree in nursing (ADN) who are licensed as registered nurses. The program builds upon prior learning and experiences. Each course is designed to provide advanced knowledge of nursing concepts and principles. This new knowledge is directly related to the professional nurse’s roles and responsibilities regarding individuals, families, groups, and the community.

The BSN degree program at Minot State University is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
- Minimum GPA 2.0
- 60 semester hours (SH) completed at a four-year institution.
- (NCLEX-RN credit of 35 SH will be posted in the final semester in the program, going towards this requirements).
- 30 SH taken at Minot State (23 SH nursing and special topics courses and 7 SH electives, general education, or statistics courses).
- Graduation application submitted to Registrar's Office.
