Hello and welcome! I am a proud graduate of the MSU Nursing Program, class of 2006, and I earned my MSN with a concentration in education from the University of Phoenix in 2018. My journey at MSU includes serving as the Director of Student Health and Counseling from 2015 to 2020. Since 2020, I have been a dedicated member of the Department of Nursing at MSU. My nursing experience spans oncology, neurology, orthopedics, and public health. I have also held the position of Director of the BSN Completion Program. Currently, I am excited to teach NURS 456 Public Health Nursing in the fourth semester of the senior year for our student nurses. Teaching and inspiring students about the importance of public health in all areas of nursing is my passion. I look forward to guiding future nurses in understanding and integrating public health principles into their practice.
