Winds and Percussion
The Minot State University Division of Performing Arts has established a reputation for preparing exemplary wind and percussion performers and music educators. While earning a Bachelor of Arts in Music (BA), a Bachelor of Science in Music Education (BSE), or a Minor in Music, wind and percussion students study privately under highly qualified and recognized faculty members.
In addition, wind and percussion students have the opportunity to perform in multiple ensembles including the Minot State University Concert Band, the Minot Symphony Orchestra, the Minot State University Jazz Ensemble, the Pride of MSU Marching Band, the Beaver Pep Band, the Minot State University Percussion Ensemble, and numerous wind and percussion chamber music groups. MSU wind and percussion graduates have established themselves as leading educators and performers throughout the United States.
