Management

Offered: On campus and online

Advance your career
As a working professional, the Master of Science in Management (MSM) program prepares you to assume greater management responsibilities. If you are interested in going beyond the master’s level, our MSM prepares you for a doctoral program.

In addition to core management courses, our program includes coursework in managerial communication, strategic marketing, human resources, financial management, spreadsheet modeling, and management information systems. Our program has a variety of capstone options to suit your career needs.

MSM vs. MBA: What's the difference?
The Master of Science in Management is a degree where you will be exposed to all key aspects of business
management. A background in business is not required. The MSM may lead to advanced study.

MBA graduates tend to function as generalists, dealing with all aspects of conducting business, including
accounting, finance, marketing, and management. The MBA is considered a terminal degree and does not
necessarily lead to additional graduate studies.

Our MSM degree can be earned on campus, online, or any combination of campus or online courses. This flexibility makes it possible for you to attend class regardless of where you live, work, or travel. The MSM can be completed in as few as two semesters (e.g., 9 months).

Tuition and fees
When you enroll in the certificate program, you pay our affordable in-state tuition regardless of residency. Research assistantships and financial aid may also be available.
