Clay Jewelry Making

Come and learn the art of clay jewelry making. Make a pair of earrings that you can wear with pride at your next event. Explore a new hobby and unleash your creativity!
Acting Performance and Creating Empathy
October 22 & 29 • 5-7 pm • Aleshire TheaterCost: $15 • Age: 13+ • Instructor: Sarah Honerman
Students will learn how to find and analyze theatrical monologues, focusing on emotional expression and empathy. The class explores various methods of conveying emotion and understanding text. Students may bring monologues they're working on, though it's not required, as options will be provided for those without one.
Youth Clay Experience
November 4, 11 and 18 • 6:30-7:30 pmCost: $40 • Limit: 12 • Instructors: Michele Borkhuis, AJ Gorthy, Linda Olson, and Blaire Engel
Students will learn hand and wheel methods to shape clay into functional or decorative pottery. They will create a piece to take home, with all materials provided. All skill levels are welcome; dress for mess!

Renaissance Art Demystified and Uncensored

Join MSU's art history professor, Dr. Amanda Watts, for an evening of Italian High Renaissance art. You will not only develop skills of how to use key art critique terms but also hear some of the more salacious and wild stories to help the art, artists, and Italian cultural landscape of the Renaissance come alive.
