The Department of Business dedicated the newly remodeled Slaaten Learning Center, located on third floor Old Main, on October 12, 2011. To meet rapid changes in business professions, Doris Slaaten, professor emeritus, funded the renovation of the Slaaten Learning Center for the third time. With this latest transformation, the center features formal and informal learning spaces, including a trading lab with a stock ticker board, immediate access to financial data and reports, a board room with complete video conferencing, space for student organizations to meet and space for students to learn and team together in a casual environment.
