I have been teaching in the nursing department at Minot State University since 2009. I have been a registered nurse since 2002 with most of my experience being rural health, including acute care, ER, long term care, and cardiac rehab. I began teaching in 2007 and have taught LPN, ADN-RN, BSN and RN to BSN nurses. I received my BSN degree through Minot State University, and my MSN degree and PhD through the University of North Dakota. I love that my career journey has brought me to nursing education. Every day of teaching I learn something new from students about nursing and what it means to be a nurse.
