The Master of Science in Sports Management curriculum focuses on principles of management, law, human relations, marketing, and communication applied in the roles and functions of sports leaders.

Career
Whether you are a current or future sports professional, our program will prepare you to assume greater leadership roles in a variety of careers including collegiate and high school athletic administration, coaching, business and sports management, marketing and promotions, athletic performance and training, campus activities, city recreation, development and external relations, and media/sports information.

Flexibility
Our sports management courses are offered online, making it possible for you to attend class regardless of where you live, work, or travel. Business courses can be completed on campus or online.

  • Complete in four or five semesters.
  • Begin fall, spring, or summer semester.
  • Quick start: Enroll as a non-degree student - an individual with an undergraduate degree who does not with to pursue the entire graduate degree - and you may be able to take select graduate courses.
One of a kind
Our sports management program is the only graduate degree of its kind in North Dakota.

Tuition and fees
When you enroll in the program, you pay our affordable in-state tuition regardless of residency. Athletic and academic graduate assistantships are available to qualified students. Financial aid may also be available.
