Learn with Minot State
When you study social media at Minot State University, you will gain hands-on experience that is guided by industry knowledge. You will work on projects that allow you to create a variety of content, including social media posts, photos, videos, and visual graphics. As a communication specialist, you’ll learn to operate all major platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Additionally, you’ll learn how to analyze online performance data and ultimately adjust your efforts to meet the needs of your clients. Upon conclusion of the program, you’ll have a number of products to showcase in your professional portfolio.

Career opportunities
Social media management is a quickly growing field that spans multiple industries. Social media specialists are in high-demand and often work as brand managers, engagement coordinators, online community managers, online communications directors, social media directors, social media marketing strategists, and social media analysts.
