Goal 3: To ensure we enhance and augment program resources, we will increase regional awareness. (In support of Empowering Generations, Goal 3: Strengthen meaningful community engagement and commitment to public service.)

• Objective 3.1: Augment program resources through donations and grants.

    • Identify and apply for three (3) new regional and/or federal grant opportunities (e.g., Verendrye, Inspiritus)
    • Identify needs and plan Giving Day projects for next five (5) years

    • Institute a CSD Scholarship Recognition Day to recognize recipients and donors to take place in May prior to commencement.
    • Continue newsletter blurb featuring scholarships

    • Continue outreach to regional high schools
    • Conduct interviews with regional news programs highlighting the MSU-CSD/SLP program
    • Contribute articles to the Connections magazine highlighting updates in the department
