Goal 3: To ensure we enhance and augment program resources, we will increase regional awareness. (In support of Empowering Generations, Goal 3: Strengthen meaningful community engagement and commitment to public service.)

Objective 3.1: Augment program resources through donations and grants.

  - Identify and apply for three (3) new regional and/or federal grant opportunities (e.g., Verendrye, Inspiritus)
  - Identify needs and plan Giving Day projects for next five (5) years
  - Explore grant options for Interprofessional collaboration
    - FASD, Autism,

Objective 3.2: Increase awareness of scholarship and donation opportunities
- Action Items
  - Institute a CSD Scholarship Recognition Day to recognize recipients and donors to take place in May prior to commencement.
  - Continue newsletter blurb featuring scholarships

Objective 3.3: Increase awareness of program
- Action Items
  - Continue outreach to regional high schools
  - Conduct interviews with regional news programs highlighting the MSU-CSD/SLP program
  - Contribute articles to the Connections magazine highlighting updates in the department
