Minot State University recommends that students scoring in this catagory utilize the ALEKS PPL software prior to registering for their first math course. ALEKS PPL provides a learning experience that adapts to a students current abilities and provides the student with an opportunity to refresh matematics that they may have learned in high school, through videos, examples and practice.
Students may register for either ASC 93 + 93L when they feel they are ready. However, registering for ASC 92 would give a student the best chance for success. An ALEKS PPL score of 15 or higher is considered sufficient for ASC 92 and a 30 or higher is sufficient for ASC 93.
Students may register for ALEKS PPL here. The cost is $25 for one year of access.
