Memberships

Faculty and staff may purchase a membership to use the Wellness Center and are encouraged to sign up at our front desk. Stop by the Wellness Center for a tour of our facility. Once you have signed up, our staff will be happy to assist you with a free equipment orientation.

Membership Overview

1. All full and part-time faculty and staff are eligible to purchase a membership.
2. Membership includes full use of the Wellness Center, including the rock wall, Group X classes, and all other gym space.
3. Members can sign up any time throughout the year. Semester memberships are only available for purchase during the first two weeks of each semester
4. All membership fees must be paid at the Minot State business office prior to using the Wellness Center.
5. Only benefited employees are eligible for payroll deduction.
6. Payroll deduction will be applied on the last paycheck of the month.
7. Minot State benefited employees are eligible for the $20/month Health Club Reimbursement. 
8. Members must sign a liability waiver at the Wellness Center before using the facility.
9. Members are expected to follow the policies and procedures of the Wellness Center.
10. Gym hours are subject to change based on the demands of the academic calendar.
11. To cancel membership or payroll deduction, notice must be given 30 days in advance.
12. Refunds will be available only for paid-in-full annual or semester memberships in the case of injury, illness, or the separation of employment, at which time you must request and fill out a Wellness Center Refund Form. Members who have monthly memberships will not be eligible for a refund.

Current students, faculty, and staff can sign up their spouse for $38 per month by visiting the Wellness Center front desk. For questions, please contact Paul.Brekke@MinotStateU.edu.

Current high school students who are enrolled at Minot State University for dual credit courses are eligible to purchase a membership for only $80 per semester. Use the Dual Credit Contract to sign up.

Have a friend or family member in town? Current members can sponsor up to ten guests per semester for $5 per day by filling out the Guest Pass Contract.
