The Minot State Wellness Center is dedicated to offering you a variety of classes to challenge your body, fit your lifestyle, and make getting and staying in shape fun. Spin, Yoga, Bodypump, and Bootcamp are just a few of the many classes that we offer.

Whether you're pursuing personal wellness goals, participating in campus recreation, or taking advantage of our programs, we're committed to helping every member of the Minot State community live well and thrive.
Wellness Center Hours
Become a Member
Faculty and staff may purchase a membership to use the Wellness Center and are encouraged to sign up at our front desk. Stop by the Wellness Center for a tour of our facility. Once you have signed up, our staff will be happy to assist you with a free equipment orientation.
Employee Wellness Benefits
Membership Overview
- All full and part-time faculty and staff are eligible to purchase a membership.
- Membership includes full use of the Wellness Center, including the rock wall, Group X classes, and all other gym space.
- Members can sign up any time throughout the year. Semester memberships are only available for purchase during the first two weeks of each semester
- All membership fees must be paid at the Minot State business office prior to using the Wellness Center.
- Only benefited employees are eligible for payroll deduction.
- Payroll deduction will be applied on the last paycheck of the month.
- Minot State benefited employees are eligible for the $20/month Health Club Reimbursement.
- Members must sign a liability waiver at the Wellness Center before using the facility.
- Members are expected to follow the policies and procedures of the Wellness Center.
- Gym hours are subject to change based on the demands of the academic calendar.
- To cancel membership or payroll deduction, notice must be given 30 days in advance.
- Refunds will be available only for paid-in-full annual or semester memberships in the case of injury, illness, or the separation of employment, at which time you must request and fill out a Wellness Center Refund Form. Members who have monthly memberships will not be eligible for a refund.

Fitness & Training
The Minot State Wellness Center offers personal training services for current students and faculty/staff who are paying members. All sessions take place at the Wellness Center.
Individual Training Packages
- 1 session = $20
- 3 sessions = $60
- 5 sessions = $75 (save $25)
- 10 sessions = $150 (save $50)
- 20 sessions = $300 (save 100)
Small Group Training:
- Groups of 2 = $15/person
- Groups of 3 = $10/person
- Groups of 4 = $5/person

For Rock Wall use, all patrons must sign a new, electronic liability waiver. Click here to access the rock wall waiver.
Our 35-foot climbing tower extends to all three floors of the Wellness Center. Attached by an archway to a nearby bouldering wall, the climbing structure offers over 2,000 square feet of climbing surface and a multitude of climbing routes for all levels.
The Rock Wall is open Monday through Friday from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1-4 p.m. Please call the front desk at 701-858-4084 to make an appointment to climb outside the scheduled hours.
Education & Resources
The Wellness Center offers CPR/AED training to the campus community. We offer courses for individuals and groups in need of certification through the American Heart Association.
Heartsaver CPR/AED is an entry-level course that will provide necessary life-saving techniques for students, coaches, and employees. This training takes up to 2 hours.
First Aid training can be combined with the Heartsaver CPR/AED course. This training offers skills to provide immediate assistance to those suffering from minor or serious illness or injury.
The BLS Healthcare Provider course is designed for those students and employees who work in the healthcare field who have direct patient contact. This training takes up to 3 hours.
