Research Interests
Dr. Krystal St. Peter received her Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology with a focus in Cognitive Psychology from Florida Atlantic University in 2021. Her primary research area focuses on the effects of emotion on memory, with a special interest in eyewitness memory for events. Additional research interests include the influence of movement on emotional responses to animals, the cognitive processes of emotion and phobias, cultural differences in self-reported phobia symptoms, the effects of source credibility on memory, memory for emotional pieces of information (e.g., trivia facts), and false memory formation.
