Ms. Rebecca Daigneault is an Assistant Professor and Field Coordinator of Social Work at Minot State University in Minot, North Dakota. She is also the Project Director of a federal grant funded by the Administration for Community Living titled "Indians into Disability Studies Project." This grant is through the North Dakota Center for Persons with Disabilities (NDCPD) at Minot State University in partnership with the Turtle Mountain Community College in Belcourt, ND. Rebecca holds a Master of Social Work degree from New Mexico State University and is a Licensed Master Social Worker in the state of North Dakota. From 2001 to 2014, Ms. Daigneault lived and worked in Denver, Colorado and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her entire career has been devoted to working with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities (and their families) in various capacities. Additionally, she is a 2021 graduate of the Utah Regional Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (URLEND) program. Ms. Daigneault is also a 2016 graduate of the Leadership Institute for Cultural Diversity and Cultural and Linguistic Competence through Georgetown University. She is passionate about networking with various community organizations and entities to collaborate on disability, diversity, and increasing services to underserved populations.
