Spring 2023 registration open Friday at Minot State

MINOT, N.D. – Minot State University’s Spring 2023 semester registration is open for all currently enrolled MSU students beginning Friday, Oct. 28.

Current Minot State degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate students who enroll by Nov. 4 are eligible for a drawing for a $500 gift card to SCHEELS of Minot. It is the second straight semester MSU and SCHEELS have partnered for a registration giveaway.

“We are extremely happy to partner with SCHEELS to help reward our current students during priority registration,” said Laurie Geller, vice president for academic affairs. “We expect over 1,000 students will register in the first week, so it is important for our current students to meet with their advisors and register for spring classes as soon as possible to ensure they get the classes they need in the formats they want.”

Minot State’s priority registration runs until Nov. 4, but students can register for classes up until the start of the Spring 2023 semester, although classes are subject to availability.

MSU students should consult their academic advisor by appointment and check with the MSU registrar’s office — in person at Administration Building Room 161, by EMAIL, or by phone at 701-858-3345 — for any holds on their account as part of their planning for their Spring 2023 schedule.

New and transfer students must complete virtual new student orientation before enrolling and should check their email for information on how to sign up.

Classes are scheduled to begin on Monday, Jan. 9, 2023 after 4 p.m.
