Minot State Giving Day set for April 13

MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State University Development Foundation proudly presents the University’s fourth Giving Day April 13.

Minot State Giving Day is a 24-hour, online event where alumni, friends, students, faculty, and staff can support the areas that mean the most to them, from academic and athletic programs to scholarships and student support funds, while receiving a 50% match.

The MSU Development Foundation will match 50% on all gifts up to $1,000 and, in addition, various challenges are available throughout the day allowing you to increase your impact while generating additional funds for the areas you are most passionate about.

“We are excited for Giving Day 2022.  Virtually every department across campus is participating again this year,” said Minot State Development Foundation Executive Director Rick Hedberg. “If you have a passion, we can match it with a department in need.  We are so fortunate to have a significant number of alumni and friends that step forward each year. This promises to be another great day for Minot State and our students.”

Giving Day will start at midnight and run until 11:59 p.m. (CDT). Gifts can be made prior to the event, however, as the Giving Day website Give.MinotStateU.edu is live and accepting donations.

The MSU Development Foundation is encouraging both participation and engagement from alumni, friends, and donors leading up to and during MSU Giving Day. Special MSU Giving Day profile photos and social media banners have been made for Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and are available for DOWNLOAD.  The hashtag #MSUGivingDay is also encouraged for social media posts.

Log on to the MSU Giving Day website Give.MinotStateU.edu for more information on the event and information on all 59 projects. For more information, contact MSU Donor Relations Coordinator Kate Marshall by EMAIL or by phone at (701) 858-4158.
