Alumni Association plans events in Arizona

MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State University Alumni Association has announced the dates for its annual Arizona Alumni & Friends Events.

The trip will begin on Thursday, March 3 and will feature four events over three days in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area.

“The Phoenix area has one of our largest alumni populations,” said Janna McKechnie, director of alumni and annual giving. “The events we host in that area are always well attended and it fun to visit our alumni in the areas where they live. It’s a great opportunity to bring MSU to them and build the MSU community away from the campus.”

The Alumni Association and MSU President Dr. Steven Shirley invite all alumni and friends of the University to Alumni & Friends Socials March 3, March 4, and March 5. The March 3 event has changed locations and will now be at the Bottled Blonde in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Social Hall in Tempe, Arizona is the site for the March 4 event, and March 5 will be at Corte Bella Golf Course in Sun City West, Arizona.

MSU will also host an Alumni & Friends Golf Scramble at Corte Bella Golf Course. The scramble includes 18 holes of golf, cart, bucket and range balls, and tournament prizes. Individual and team entries are welcome. Cost of the scramble is $125 per person.

The Brat Haus and Social Hall events are from 6-8 p.m. (local time) and feature heavy appetizers and a cash bar and are free to attend. The social and dinner at Corte Bella Golf Course is $25 per person and is scheduled for approximately 5 p.m. following the golf scramble.
