Minot State Preview Day Saturday, Nov. 16

MINOT, N.D. – Minot State is hosting Preview Day for prospective students on Saturday, Nov. 16. Attendees can discover majors offered by the University, visit one-on-one with faculty, listen to engaging speakers, and attend a department fair and breakout sessions. Individuals who register for the event could even win a $500 tuition waiver.

“Preview Day offers students the chance to experience Minot State in a unique way,” said Sal Rodriguez, Minot State admissions counselor. “Preview Day is a great opportunity for students to meet current faculty, staff at the department fair, explore campus on a tour, and interact with students during our panel discussion. Students have the opportunity to see what their future could hold if they check out Minot State Preview Day.”

The event opens with registration at 9:30 a.m. in the Student Center Atrium before the day moves to the Student Center Conference Center. At 10 a.m., Chelsie Hultz, Minot State teacher education and kinesiology instructor, and Zebulon Wallace, Minot State geography professor, will present “Choosing Your Major,” followed by a question and answer session with current Minot State students. After lunch in the Beaver Creek Café, a department fair will feature academic departments and student services.
