‘Messiah’ auditions slated

The Heritage Singers, Voices of Note and Minot State University’s Division of Music announce the annual “Messiah” production Dec. 4 in Ann Nicole Nelson Hall at 4 p.m. The performance showcases a large choir, soloists and orchestra performing the Christmas portion of Handel's masterpiece. Participation in the choir is open to everybody who would like to sing. Individuals just need to come to all rehearsals! Scores will be provided for the choristers.

Additionally, there are opening auditions for soloists. Please be prepared to sing one complete solo from the Christmas portion and bring a copy of the score.   • Choral rehearsal 1 – Nov. 20, 4-6 p.m.
  • Auditions for soloists – Nov. 22, starting at 4 p.m.
  • Choral rehearsal 2 – Nov. 27, 4-6 p.m.
  • Choral rehearsal 3 – Dec. 4, 2-3 p.m.
  • Performance – Dec. 4, 4 p.m.
