The Minot State Marketing Office conducts formal photo sessions of students and faculty throughout the year. See what photos are available for use in a publication at our photo gallery. This photo gallery is for internal Minot State use only.
Photography Services
When requested and when possible, the Marketing Office will provide photography for the following:
- Events hosted by official Minot State University departments.
- Learning in action photoshoots of classes engaging in hands-on learning.
- Faculty and Staff headshots (available at the start of the fall and spring terms)
Photography Best Practices
When considering photography from our gallery for the purpose of your site or other promotional materials, please consider the following:
- Does the photo relate to the content?
- Does the subject(s) have appropriate attire?
- Does the subject(s) have a positive expression?
- Does the photo fit the area of the space available?
- Does the background of the photo reflect Minot State’s brand?
Photo Use Requirements
All internal and external audiences must follow these requirements:
- Images must not be manipulated, such as stretching or cropping, in any way.
- Images may not be sold or otherwise exploited for personal use.
- When used in publications, photographs should be credited to Minot State University.
