Because the geothermal operation that runs the library’s HVAC system is being repaired, there is no air conditioning in the building. This lack of air conditioning has caused temperatures in the library to reach 90+ degrees. These temperatures will be getting higher in the coming days. Because of this situation, the library will be closed until the geothermal operation is fixed. Although it is being worked on now, fixing the geothermal system is liable to take several weeks quite some time. (6/11/18)

THE LIBRARY, HOWEVER, WILL STILL BE CONDUCTING BUSINESS (and the bookdrop -- which is just inside the first set of double doors at the library's entrance -- at the library will still be available to use to return your books).

The librarians will be in Crane Hall from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday, where there are computers and a printer for your use (click here for a map). If you need assistance of any kind (e.g., reference help, finding a book, finding an article, checking out a book, any kind of question), please either give us a call at 858-3296, or come over to Crane Hall (use northeast door).
