Understanding society
The Bachelor of Arts in Social and Data Science focuses on applied skills and prepares you to use data to explain trends and answer questions about social change and how people behave and make choices. You’ll study tools used to identify behavior and track trends such as voting and elections, health care, criminology, advertising, migration, use of natural resources, and economics. Our multidisciplinary approach includes history, geography, sociology, economics, and philosophy. You’ll combine a core set of social science courses with tools related to data analysis and representing information geographically to design a focused capstone project related to your interests.
