October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and domestic violence continues to be a profound and pervasive social and public health crisis, crossing lines of class, race, ethnicity, and sexuality in our own Minot community. The Title IX office is assisting Skyler Ballard, a senior at Minot State coordinate a donation drive on behalf of the Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC). Skyler’s goal is to collect donations for the month of October in observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Please consider donating an item from DVCC’s wishlist. Boxes for drop-off are located in Old Main, Memorial-Title IX, and Student Union.
