Spring 2017 Presiden't List and Dean's List
Minot State University reports its academic honor rolls by providing a “President’s List” and a “Dean’s List.” The President’s List names students with a grade point average of 3.8 and above. The “Dean’s List” will recognize students who earned GPAs of 3.5 to 3.79 within their respective colleges.
This change was proposed by the Deans’ Council and was approved by members of President’s Staff, Faculty Senate and Student Government Association (student governing body). The intent is to provide more recognition that is prestigious to students earning 3.8 and above and to allow the deans an opportunity to congratulate students pursing degrees in their colleges who have achieved specified academic standards.
