Public Information Office


The primary responsibility of the Office of Public Information is to communicate news and information about Minot State University to internal and external audiences. The office plans and directs MSU's news and information program, prepares and disseminates news releases, creates internal and external periodicals and advises departments and offices on news, media relations, marketing and related areas of communications.

The core purpose of the public information office is to support the institution in making strides toward its Vision 2013 goal: Minot State University will achieve national distinction as one of the premier public, regional universities in the "great" Great Plains.
