
The Minot State University Foundation created the Board of Regents in 1979. The Board of Regents is an unincorporated organization designed to faciliate the positive growth and development of Minot State University in its role as a comprehensive university. This select group of influential individuals provides valuable input and guidance by participation in the University's ongoing strategic planning process. The board also works with University administrators to accomplish specifically identified projects and activities.
Board of Regents Recognition Endowment Fund: The Board of Regents Recognition Endowment Fund is owned and managed by the MSU Development Foundation in a manner that is consistent with its regularly established endowment program and the purposes established by the board. Proceeds from this fund are used for the Staff and Faculty Achievement Recognition Awards given annually.
On Thursday April 26, 2012, the Board of Regents awarded MSU staff
and faculty for outstanding service to the university and the community.
