Federal law enforcement professionals: MSU graduates featured in CJ Club’s symposium

Minot State University’s Criminal Justice Club will sponsor “Federal Law Enforcement Professionals” Thursday (Feb. 16) in Swain Hall’s third floor lounge at 6 p.m. This symposium event is free and open to the public. In addition, the CJ Club will host a fundraiser spaghetti feed for $3 per plate.

Alumni representing their agencies’ Minot offices are Scott Snyder ’91, Federal Bureau of Investigations special agent; Darrik Trudell ’03, Homeland Security Investigations special agent; Chris Poitra ’03, deputy United States marshal; Nick Larson ’13, United States federal probation officer.

Panelists will discuss their career paths and emphasize the triumphs and obstacles they experienced within their chosen criminal justice field. They will each speak for approximately 20 minutes with a question-and-answer period to follow.
