Welcome to Minot State University Department of Nursing website.
Accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc. (Formerly NLNAC, National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, Inc.) and approved by the ND Board of Nursing, the Department of Nursing offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (BSN). On this site, you will find information and applications for our regular Bachelor of Science In Nursing (BSN) program and the BSN completion program for currently licensed RNs. Additionally, we offer a minor in Health Management Science.
Energetic and dynamic, the Department of Nursing has 152 pre-nursing students, 100+ enrolled nursing students, and 60+ online RN to BSN students enrolled. Recent remodeling provides high-fidelity clinical simulation experiences for all nursing students in the Nursing Clinical Simulation Center. Innovative public health nursing experiences allows elderly to remain independent through student nursesí provision of an Adult Health Maintenance Clinic. Several nursing faculty will soon be completing PhD and DNP degrees.
