Office hours are 8:00 - 4:30, Monday through Friday.

Nigel Atwood, Student Assistant
Nigel is from Lethbridge, Alberta (Canada). He's majoring in Physical Education and Corporate Fitness, and has played football for Minot State University for the past 3 years. Nigel is assists new and returning international and Canadian students with general questions and paperwork. He also organizes cultural events, such as Canadian Thanksgiving and an annual Curling Bonspiel.

Virginie Vournas, International Student Coordinator
Virginie manages immigration-related matters relative to international students and exchange visitors, and is responsible for ensuring institutional compliance with federal immigration law. She also acts as the advisor for international and Canadian students and exchange visitors on various issues impacting them, and in educating university faculty and staff on federal visa and immigration policies.

Libby Claerbout, Director
Libby is responsible for the development of systems and processes to support Minot State University’s International Programs including support services, policies and procedures for: international students, study abroad, faculty led study abroad programs, and faculty and scholar exchanges. She also works to foster campus involvement in international programs and create on-campus culture of global awareness.
