SNDU is a student club for MSU's education majors. It strives to provide opportunities for education majors to be involved in and lend services to the Minot education community. Each year, Minot State's SNDU collects books for their community literacy drive. The 1,000+ books are distributed to students in the local schools.

MSCOPE – The Minot State Club of Physical Educators is the majors club for physical education and corporate fitness and wellness majors. MSCOPE has been one of the most active majors clubs at MSU. The club provides community service to local schools in a variety of ways. The students involved raise funds to support certifications and training and travel to conferences. MSCOPE students often present at NDSHAPE and Central District SHAPE conferences. MSCOPE is a great way to grow professionally and personally while creating a network of relationships that are impactful for years to come.
Elementary teachers are in high demand and starting annual salary for teachers in the region is $30,000-$45,000.
