The Office of Facilities Management at Minot State University is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of all campus buildings. Under the direction of David Soares Director of Facility Operations, the department supports the university’s mission by ensuring safe, functional, and well-maintained facilities. The team includes approximately 50 full-time staff members and a number of student workers, providing services across a wide range of areas including custodial operations, carpentry, electrical systems, HVAC, motor pool, parking, warehousing, shipping & receiving, and mail room services. All building projects—regardless of size—are coordinated through Facilities Management to ensure consistency, compliance, and quality across campus.
