GlobalND welcomes Palestinian Educators to Minot

MINOT, N.D. – GlobalND is hosting six Palestinian educators from April 15 to 19.
Coming to the United States under the auspices of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) of the U.S. State Department, the Palestinian's overall program theme is “Secondary School Administration.”
GlobalND, a non-profit, all-volunteer community-based organization, fosters international relationships and global understanding through people-to-people diplomacy. It was founded in 1993 as the Minot Area Council for International Visitors through the cooperation of Minot State University and the surrounding community, including the city of Minot, the Minot Education Association, and the Minot Air Force Base. Part of the Global Ties US Network, GlobalND works with the IVLP of the U.S. State Department.
GlobalND has arranged appointments for them, ranging from the Minot Area Workforce Academy to the ASTEP program of the North Dakota Center for Persons with Disabilities. They will also tour the Scandinavian Heritage Center Park, as well as be hosted for dinner by two Minot families.
From Minot, they will move on to Cincinnati for further meetings and demonstrations.
