‘Rise and Grind’ spring registration opens at Minot State

MINOT, N.D. – Minot State University’s spring registration will open for all currently enrolled students on Oct. 29.
MSU is offering two promotions for students who complete their spring registration through a “Rise and Grind” offer for degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate students.
“Rise and Grind” will feature a free grande drink from Sodexo Starbucks for students on Oct. 29-Nov. 1, from 9-11 a.m. Minot State's Academic Support Center, MSU Registrar, and orientation leaders will all be present at Sodexo Starbucks to help clear holds, make appointments with advisors, and select classes in Campus Connection.
Registration can be confusing and overwhelming for some, so this is a great opportunity for students to get their questions answered or get a little help with the process,” said Jim Sturm, Looyenga Leadership Center director and chair of MSU’s Retain and Graduate Committee. “We want to make registration as stress-free as possible.”
Minot State and SCHEELS have partnered again this year to give away gift cards throughout the week. During the week, MSU will draw five Minot State students for a $100 gift card.
While Minot State’s promotion runs until Nov. 2, students can register for classes up until the start of the Spring 2025 semester, with classes subject to availability.
Classes are scheduled to begin on Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, after 4 p.m.
