Dr. Raman Sachdev is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Minot State University, where he has been employed since fall 2022. At MSU, he teaches Critical Thinking, Ethics, Philosophy of Religion, and Modern Philosophy, among other courses.
Dr. Sachdev specializes in the history of philosophy, skepticism, and early modern thought. He also has strong interests in Asian philosophy, comparative religion, and the philosophy of music. He has published his work in academic journals and online popular presses.
Prior to joining MSU, Dr. Sachdev was employed as a Visiting Instructor of Philosophy at the University of South Florida. While at USF, he also taught for the Judy Genshaft Honors College, where he created and instituted courses like Studies in Buddhism and Stoicism; Mental Illness, Suicide, and Moral Responsibility; and Music and the Emotions/Music and the Screen.
